Because we value casting performers who can best uphold our company's high-performance standards, we do have a very specific audition process. This starts with an online application, if eligible, for specific roles we are currently casting for or preferably attending one of our open audition casting calls. 

​

We primarily cast through our in-person auditions, as we prioritize performers who demonstrate initiative and commitment by attending. If you are unable to attend, you may submit your application via email for consideration after auditions, should any roles remain unfilled or if future needs arise that match your specific look and talents.

Casting requirements we look for:
↣Excellent with children (especially preschoolers) and working with large and small crowds.
↣ Some level of singing ability or at least can carry a tune! 
↣ Reliable access to transportation with valid driver's licenses– considerable driving is required as performers often provide their own transportation.
↣ Willingness to drive to our company's location in High Point, NC.
↣ Consistent weekend availability for Friday afternoons and evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. Ideal candidates can commit at least 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday a month. Our business primarily operates Friday-Sunday, when most families gather to celebrate birthdays and do outings, with occasional weekday shift opportunities available. 

↣  Due to training lengths, Ideal candidates can commit to at least 2+ months of performance. 
↣ A certain character look-a-like appearance with a youthful appearance.
↣ Tattoos must be easily disguisable and no highly visible, unremovable / body piercings 
↣ Punctuality
↣ Ability to wear pre-existing costume ensembles securely and correctly.
↣ Willingness to have a background check (required for hiring).
↣ Age 18+
↣Willingness to wear heavy stage makeup, heavy layered costuming and professional wigs for extended lengths of time. 

Preferred Qualifications:
↣ Experience working with children
↣ Musical theatre, acting, singing, & dance experience.
↣ Former Theme Park Cast Members and DCP interns.
↣ Experience with face painting and hairstyling.
↣ Tumbling skills (Superhero roles)
↣ ASL + Multilingual knowledge
↣ CPR certified

(Photos do not need to be professional but should be clear.)

• If a singing position (all princess/prince roles are) please also submit a video of you singing a princess/ disney song of choice that best showcases your range (can be a singalong style to show you can carry a tune).

Performers will be contacted by RR Casting should they be selected to move on to the next round. We will keep all applications on file for up to 12 month in case a position opens that you may be considered for.
